The Summer Series 2025 is all about keeping the running spirit alive after marathon season by offering fast, short-distance road races.

📍 All races start at 6:30 AM from the clubhouse.
Entry Fees

Members: Free, register for each race as normal.

Visitors: $25 covers up to four races
👉 New members signing up for 2026 in October can race the rest of 2025 for free.
Age Brackets & Waves
-
Races are run in age brackets (0–29, 30–44, 45–59, 60+) with staggered start times.

Elite category requires a qualifying time to be (5 km time sub-17:00 men, sub-19:20 women).

Elite Category & Prizes

To be eligible for series prize money, runners must compete in all four Elite races.

Series Prizemoney (Men & Women): 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $100.

Points follow the Championship scoring system, with ties decided by aggregate times.
Finisher Medal
Complete three of the four races (any category) and receive a custom medal honouring BRRC’s original West End start line. It doubles as a bottle opener and fridge magnet.

1 Mile, 2 km, 1500 m: Out-and-back courses from the clubhouse.

3 km: Modified course over the Commercial Rowing hill with finish at Riverside Dr & Victoria St
All events are conducted along our normal course
at West End from the SBSC Hall at Orleigh Park
